Terms of Use

The basic rules for using Lateshift’s website, waitlist, beta, and app-related services.

Last updated July 3, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Lateshift’s website, waitlist, beta program, app, and related services (“Lateshift,” the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. About Lateshift

Lateshift helps users organize tasks and plan time outside of work hours. The Service may use information you provide, such as tasks, preferences, and connected calendar availability, to suggest schedules.

Lateshift provides planning assistance only. You remain responsible for reviewing, confirming, editing, or rejecting any schedule, task, event, or recommendation.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Lateshift. If you use Lateshift on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to agree to these Terms for that organization.

3. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account information up to date. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users, or used the Service in a harmful or unlawful way.

4. Beta Features

Lateshift may offer beta, early access, experimental, or preview features. These features may change, break, be removed, or work differently than expected.

We may limit, modify, or end beta access at any time.

5. Your Content

You may provide tasks, notes, preferences, calendar connections, feedback, and other content. You keep ownership of your content.

You give Lateshift permission to use your content as needed to operate, provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.

You are responsible for the content you provide and must not upload anything unlawful, harmful, infringing, abusive, or misleading.

6. Calendar Connections

If you connect a calendar, you authorize Lateshift to access calendar information necessary to provide scheduling features.

You may disconnect calendar access through your account settings or through your calendar provider. Lateshift may suggest schedules based on connected calendar information, but you are responsible for reviewing and approving any schedule before relying on it.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or compromise the Service.
  • Access accounts, data, systems, or integrations without authorization.
  • Use automated scraping, crawling, or extraction without permission.
  • Interfere with other users’ access to or use of the Service.
  • Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or relationship with Lateshift.

8. Intellectual Property

Lateshift, including its name, logo, design, website, software, interface, and related materials, is owned by Lateshift or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit any part of the Service unless we give you permission.

9. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to you.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may connect to or rely on third-party services, such as calendar providers, hosting services, analytics tools, authentication providers, or email providers.

We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or always available.

Lateshift does not guarantee that suggested schedules will be accurate, optimal, or suitable for your needs. You are responsible for reviewing your own schedule, commitments, and obligations.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lateshift will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or missed obligations arising from your use of the Service.

13. Termination

You may stop using Lateshift at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service, or if we discontinue the Service.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
